 (1) B.A. Special (Honours) from Wilson College, Bombay University in 1974
(2) B.D. from Leonard Theological College, Jaba lpur (affiliated to Senate of Serampore College) in 1977.
(3) M.Th. from North India Institute of Post Graduate Theological Studies, Bengal (affiliated to Senate of Serampore College) in 1984.
(4) D.Th. from South Asia Theological Research Institute (affiliated to Senate of Serampore College) in 1996. The doctoral programme included an exposure at Harvard Divinity School, Cambridge, Massechusetts, Fall term, 1992.

(1)     Orginally a member of the Methodist Church of India.
(2)     Became a member of the Mizoram Presbyterian Church (which is part of Presbyterian Church of India) in 1978. Was ordained as a minister in the Church in 1980.

 Ministerial Experience:                                          top

(1) Served as Pastor of the English Methodist Church, Jabalpur from May 1977 to April 1978.

(2) Have been serving in Aizawl Theological College, Aizawl, Mizoram since May 1978. Besides teaching in the College, I have also served as Hostel Warden, Chaplain, Book Service Manager, Librarian and Registrar. Presently I am serving as Vice-Principal (since June 2000)

(3) Have been serving for several years since 1978 (with a few breaks) as Pastor of the English Congregation. an ecumenical fellowship under the Mizoram Presbyterian Church

(4) Was instrumental in starting an English medium school in Aizawl, the English Congregation School in 1988.

(5) Have been associated with the Student Christian Movement of India since my Wilson College days. Served as a member of the SCMI Executive Committee from 1974 to 1976. Have served as Chairperson of SCMI from 1996 to 2001.

(6) Have been engaged as Speaker in several Youth Conferences and Mission Programmes m North East India

(7) Have participated in a few seminars and consultations of United Theological College (Bangalore), South Asia Theological Research Institute(Bangalore), Board of Theological Education of the Senate of Serampore College (in different places) and Eastern Theologi cal College, Jorhat.

(8) Have been writing regularly in The Presbyterian Review of Mizoram Presbyterian Church. I am now the Editor of The Presbyterian Review My article on "Rethinking Indian Christianity from a Tribal Perspective" has been published in the December 1997 issue of Religion and Society (CISRS publication). Written three Bible studies in Struggles to Celebrate Life, ed. by Moses Paul Peter (Bangalore: SCMI:l998). I am also the Executive Editor of Mizoram Theological Journal

(9) Serving as tutor for TAFTEE (The Association for Theological Education by Extension) programme in Aizawl.

(10) Serving as Assistant Secretary cum Treasurer of Mizo Theological Conference since 2000. Also serving as Treasurer of Mizo Theological Literature Committee since 1999.

(11) Was Charles Wallace Fellowship Visiting Fellow at The Department of Theology and Religious Studies, University of Bristol during the Spring Term, 2000.

(12) Member of the Committee on Theological Education of the North East India Christian Council since 1998. Member of the Executive Committee of the Presbyterian Church of India since 2000.
